Swords: Eastern Influence

Although the majority of our swords fall into the European, or Western, category, Peter in particular has a fondness for the blades of the Eastern swordmaking traditions. The kilij blades of the Turkish region, the shamshirs and tulwars of India, and the katanas and wakizashis of Japan hold a special place in his heart. The majority of the blades seen here are not traditional designs, but instead attempt to capture some of the same "flavor". The general opinion is that most fall into the "Elven Warrior meets the Ottoman Empire" or "Rise of the Japanese Dragon Pirates" categories, but who are we to say these aren't great categories to be in?
